Human Trafficking

Human Trafficking
By: Catherine Stallings

Many people think that slavery had end, the ugly truth it's out there and it's growing! Human trafficking is the fastest growing international crime and a billion dollar industry.

Victims are sexually exploited, most treated inhumane, beat, forced to perform labor and live in harsh conditions. They are persuaded to comply by threats and force, some if not most fear for their lives. Traffickers instill deep fear in their victims by threatening family, physically abusing them, and torturing them.

  • Victims may be sold or traded by their parents or other family members
  • Victims may have been coerced by fake relationships with the traffickers
  • Victims may have been kidnapped
  • Victims may be used for their organs
With trafficking there are no limits.........
